INDICAZIONE GEOGRAFICA TIPICA
GRAPES AND VINIFICATION
Produced with Corvina Veronese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes from vineyards of the Cordevigo estate at Cavaion Veronese, on the morainic hills of the hinterland of Lake Garda. After a slightly late harvest and a ligh tdrying, Villa Cordevigo Rosso matures in 700-litre cherry wood casks and tonneaux
Intense fruity perfumes that are reminiscent of cherries and wild berries (bilberries, dewberries), with faint hints of cacao, prunes and tobacco. Concentrated and mouth-filling on the palate, it has gentle, elegant and velvety tannins
It goes well with meat dishes (even rather complex and full-flavoured ones): roasts, grilled red
meats, lamb and game. It is also excellent for accompanying mature cheese.
