A round, juicy red, showing aromas and flavors of currant, with notes of sweet herbs, sea shell and red licorice. Medium-bodied, this is a little vacant on the palate, but the tasty, spicy fruit lingers. Drink now. 2,100 cases made. –JC

Un amarone maturo, con note di uva passita,  cocco tostato e accenni di buccia fresca di kumquat. Vino di corpo, dalla trama vellutata ed un cuore di frutta e minerali possenti che si inseriscono nel finale

A mature Amarone, with raisin, sea shell, toasted coconut and a hint of fresh kumquat peel. Full-bodied, with a silky texture and a good core of fruit and mineral pushing through the lightly firm finish. Drink now through 2011. 1,500 cases made. –JC
